In October Primark launched a new skincare collection with Alex Steinherr, a former beauty editor, and award-winning journalist. For the past 2 years, Alex has been working with Primark to create a range of products for skin concerns rather than skin types. The range will compliment your current skincare routine.
The collection consists of five ranges or capsule collections – Pore Balance, Maximum Moisture, Pollution Solution, Plump & Glow, and Sleep Spa. Every product is fragrance-free, Vegan-Friendly and Cruelty-free.
One month after these sold out in Penney’s aka Primark I’ve decided to tell you all about the Sleep Spa Sleeping Face Mask and the Every Night Eye Mask.
Sleep Spa Sleeping Face Mask
After cleansing, apply a thick layer to your face avoiding the eye area. The face mask has a serum texture to it. It feels light on the skin. It takes a few minutes to sink into the skin and does not feel sticky or heavy. Leave on overnight and wake up with ‘Plump Dewy Skin’.
I have been using this most nights for the past 4 weeks and I can honestly notice the difference if I do not use it for a few nights. My skin has less radiance and moisture but after 2 nights this has been restored.
Also to add that not once has my skin broken out in spots over the past 4 weeks. I have used overnight masks before that have clogged my pores. This alone sets the Sleep Spa Face Mask apart from anything I have used before.
The Sleep Spa Face Mask is €6. It has sold out but this is to be a permanent range in Penney’s aka Primark so it will be back in stock soon.
Sleep Spa Every Night Eye Mask
In the words of Alex Steinherr, this is a genius, genius product. Again apply a thick layer and let it sink in. The eye mask is a gel-like texture to it. It is not heavy at all and doesn’t take long to sink into your skin.
The eye mask smoothes the eye area and reduces puffiness all while you are sleeping. It works wonders for the dry skin I get at this time of year under my eyes.
The Sleep Spa Every Night Eye Mask is €5. This is also part of the permanent collection and as soon as it is back in stores I will be stocking up.
Have you tried any of the Sleep Spa collection? If so, what is your favourite?
