In November I was invited along to the Mane ‘n Tail Bloggers Christmas Party.
I had only ever used their hand cream – which FYI is AMAZING! I use it every night before bed and I also have it at my desk in work.
At the event I had a brief hair consultation with Tara and she recommended I use the Herbal Essential Range. I have coloured hair (Yes the grey appears EVERY 3 weeks) and I don’t have hair extensions. I also explained that pores get blocked on my back and on my scalp from using conditioner. She assured me that this range would be perfect as it did not contain silicone that would clog my pores.
Instructions for Mane ‘n Tail Shampoo & Conditioner :
Shampoo twice, the first time there will be no lather and on the second shampoo the suds will appear.
Then on to the conditioner, same amount as the shampoo and apply from roots to tip. Leave for 1 – 2 minutes and rinse out.
My hair didn’t feel silky soft like before after using conditioner. Hair went into a towel, I got dress and as soon as I used The Wet Brush it glided through my hair.
So you are thinking, great Rita, another Shampoo and Conditioner. And that is what I thought too UNTIL …
Over Christmas as I was wondering around Boots I saw that they had travel sized bottles of a brand name Shampoo and Conditioner. I have wanted to try it for a while now and the normal sized bottles start at about €12 each. That night I went home and used my new shampoo and conditioner. 2 days later I used them again. It was that night that my scalp started to get itchy and the next morning I had 3 spots on my back (TMI I know sorry). Back to my Mane ‘n Tail and I have not gotten 1 spot or any itchiness in my scalp.
I have just purchased my 2nd bottle in Boots, buy here. Yes 1 bottle lasted over 2 months and I wash my hair 3 or 4 times a week.
Let me know what you think, or do you have any suggestions for me?
