Something that many of us struggle with is their everyday winter wardrobe. Forever buying separates and having no outfits, just a wardrobe full of random pieces.
So we have put together 5 Essential staples with 2 choices that will help turn those random pieces turn into outfits without much thought.
1. Faux Leather Jacket
This is the perfect jacket to have all year round. It is light enough for Spring evenings and using for layering in Winter.
2. Black Skinny jeans
These are a must have in Winter. Casual wear and for nights out, Jeans and a nice top outfit. I have always bought Molly Jeans from River Island but this year I tried the Joni Jeans from Topshop and I am converted. Both are between €50 and €60 but it is worth it. You will have them until this time next year.
3. Cable Knit Jumper
You know its Autumn when all the shops start to stock the knitwear. Choosing a winter knit can be overwhelming, all the styles and colours but with a cream or oatmeal cable knit jumper you can put it over a dress, team it with your favourite skirt or wear with jeans.
4. Black Ankle Boots
A must. Black musts are definitely a need when it comes to a winter wardrobe. From trousers to dresses they will go with just about everything. Add tights for skirts or dresses and skinny jeans for a more comfortable look.
5. Top handle bag , too many layers for over the shoulder bag
And finally, the bag. I love bags. I have often bought a bag and built a whole outfit around it. It is one of the first things I think of when putting an outfit together, and then shoes. As the rest just follows then. These 2 bags are perfect for daily use and also for a night time look.
My bank balance was badly damaged while researching this for you all.
Let me know if you purchase any of these.
*Some of the above links are affiliate. This means that if you buy the jumper from New Look you pay the exact same price as in store or if you found it yourself online but I get about 20c. Thats all. Not hundreds of Euro. If you don’t want to use the links just go to the sites and search using my description.
